Brick Witch was an iOS game that was made by indiePub and published through DeNA on the mobage platform. It was a unique take on the brick breaker genre with interesting power ups, boss battles and over 150 levels. The game was also developed with the ability to change and update levels after the app was live on the app store.
I created a standalone level building and editing tool that accommodated multiple game modes, block types as well as a saving and loading system. In conjugation with the level editor I helped inplment RESTful API calls used for updating level files on the server without changing the games source code. I integrated third party API's for in-app purchasing, facebook social features and the mobage NDK. I also worked closely with the publishing team to meet expectations on deliverables as well as fix security issues for offline and online gameplay.
